Tuesday....parties, tattoos, and life

Dave picked up another class, so his hours are back to being crazy and him not being here.  Now, most people would be sad (and don't get me wrong, I am), but I really enjoy all the one-on-one time with D. He is doing so many awesome new things...well, maybe only awesome to me.  The other day he finished his dinner and I tried to take his plate, but he whined.  I left it on the table and got him out of this chair, he reached up, grabbed his plate, walked over to the sink, and put it in.  He is so BIG!  I just love him.  

My new thing is trying to concentrate on the positive and brushing off the stress and negativity.  I am proud of myself.  The other day we paid off 2 more credit cards, I even looked at our "bigger" two and didn't even freak out ha ha.  I am reminding myself it will get taken care of, in God's time.

T-minus 6 months to plan D's 2 year birthday party.  Laugh if you might, but I love party planning.  I know, I know I have to wait.  I want him to help me pick everything out and I know it'll change, but I secretly will start pinning things now. I am so stoked to plan and go!  Last year, was so much fun.  We did Elmo theme and we had the table cloths, balloons, all the little homemade pinterest-y things.  Dave, even convinced me to get a HUGE blow up obstacle course (which, turned out to be great because it kept all of the kiddos outside).  

Tattoos. I love them, but it's been almost 2 years since I've had some new ink and I'm itching to get one.  I am debating.  I have an Owl on my left wrist and 2 starfish on my right foot (rep. my hubby and myself).  I know I need to get a baby starfish for D, but I am thinking about a Celtic cross or a branch with owls sitting on it (lower back area...yeah tramp stamp, but don't judge...I think it's my sexiest body part).  What do you think?  Do you have any tattoos?  Want any?
