Yesterday was kind of hectic and the blog I was going to post never really happened. So, I like rain, but I HATE 3-4 DAYS OF RAIN! The kids are cray cray! The dogs are muddy, but maybe my grass will grow (BWHAHAHA). Yesterday, after too much time inside I bundled up my baby and the little one I watch and we hit up the library. I love our little kid area in there and the boys really enjoy picking out "their own" books.
I am so excited for our annual "blocktober fest" tomorrow night. We are so blessed to live in a cul-de-sac where we all get along. Once a month we try to have a block party. It's nice because we'll block the entrance (that might be illegal, so if it is, we don't do that ha) and the kids run around. We all bring food and beverages and hang out. We have a fire pit (which last year was an old wheelbarrow, until the cops told us we could't do that...geez I am making this sound like a bunch of criminals ha) and do smores. It's just so nice. I am so glad that God lead us to this home. Being away from family is hard, but friends that are like family rock my socks.
Hoping to squeeze in Mike's Farm/Pumpkin Patch Saturday, next weekend. I am so excited to be able to do these things with my son. Being a mom is hardwork, but so much fun. I love every minute of it (except the discipline, that part sucks so hard). I love watching his face when he see's new things, or even old things. He is so full of life and makes my heart melt. I am amazed at how fast he's growing and how much he learns each day. If this is all I was put on earth to do, be D's mama, I'd be so happy!
