Why hello there! It's been a few days. I am getting back on track starting today :) Happy Veteran's Day! Especially to my sexy Marine. I am so proud to live in America and so thankful for those men and women who make the sacrifice and dedication to keep our freedom.
Today is day 6 of our 10 day challenge for the ball. I feel so much better (though I will NOT lie, I cannot wait for my wine and steak at the Ball Saturday, thank goodness for my MNS). Here are the results thus far from Day 1 til today
I don't really weigh myself anymore, but losing inches all over! Woot woot! Should be pretty tight and toned for the ball!
Which brings me to my next excitement! THE BALL! so excited that Dave and I are going to get to dress up (I <3 his Dress Blues...dropping panties since 1775 haha) and have a night alone together. I love our son, but I know he's going to have so much fun with his friends and his "Mai-me" (Jaime). We need this! I will have pics posted, not of the "fun" (perverts), but the gown and what not!
Mommy moment coming! So D doesn't really have full sentences down, but yes and no and tons of other words, lots of mumbles are his forte. Today, he told he wanted a "nana". After breakfast, he had some left over waffles, so I set his plate near the sink in case he was hungry in a few minutes. I was doing some work while he played. He came over and started pushing on my legs (he does this when he wants me somewhere). We started walking to the living room, he said, "No!" and pulled back into the kitchen. We headed to the pantry, where he normally goes (he's a growing boy), but once again, "No!" He pushed me toward the sink and stopped. I just laughed and said, "Do you want your plate?" He looked at me and smiled, "Yup!" haha I love this little baby. He makes my heart melt. Favorite moment today though was when he brought both pillow pets over and wanted me to lay down with him. I asked him if I could lay on his puppy pillow, "No". I asked if I could lay on his bear pillow and a "Uh-huh" and then 17 muhhh's (kisses). I am so thankful for this sweet, sweet chicken everyday :)
