Lots and lots going on in The Rogers household. We have acquired an Elf on the Shelf, D has named "Biscuit" haha though he is only 20 months and doesn't really "get it" it's fun for us to cause the mischief and watch his face in the morning (he loves it)! We always teach D about Christmas and Jesus, but a little fun never hurt anyone.
Any who, I am excited for Christmas.Soooo we got the tree and it's 12.5 feet/13 feet and HUGE! We have to hit up the store to get more lights for the top but this is what we've got. It's pretty crazy. Does feel weird not having a tree downstairs by the fireplace, but with our curious son we thought it best to be upstairs. Now, we can view it as soon as we pull into our house because the window faces the front!
Thanksgiving was a blast! It was a small event, but so nice. D has also been mastering this potty training thing. I think he'll be fully ready by Christmas. We have about 4 accidents a day (though he has only pooped once in his pull up) all the rest are potty! I am excited. I never thought pull-ups would work, but for now it's great! We will probably switch to big boy undies once we have less accidents! He is so cute and proud of himself!

My daddy & I! |
I am so excited because D wanted to help this year in the kitchen. I was making pumpkin pie and he pulled his little chair over and said "My momma"! Ahh, waited my whole life to be a mommy and show my kiddos how to do the "fun" things like bake! He was such a good helper!
I am excited because Sunday morning, I did my run for my 10K training. I decided that I will start with the 10K and move on over to the half marathon. It feels so good to get back out and run. It's on like donkey kong now! Hope ya'll had a great Thanksgiving! Cannot wait to read/see pics!
