Crockpot and Cookies

It's 8:45, it's quiet (except the sound of my Christmas music and dish washer)!  I think God just gave me the best gift ever! I have been up since 6:50, usually first kiddo arrives around 6:55/7:00 and the second around 7:45-8:00..not today.  Today, I have done the first load of dishes, dinner is in the crockpot (which reminds me, check your texts or people will think your dinner is in the CRACKpot....I don't do crack, promise ha), and the sugar cookie dough is in the fridge!  I feel like I've been up for 10 hours ha, but not tired (thanks SPARK).  I haven't been "feeling" the Christmas spirit...that's a big deal for me.  I am always the first one to be soooo excited, but I couldn't figure it out.  Well, we put up our second tree last night and started wrapping.  Today I started really baking and THERE IS IT! It's on now :)
Sunday was such a great day!  We had an amazing church service and then we went and saw the live Nativity event, which was fun.  D almost had his fingers "bit" off by a camel, but it was nice being together singing and being surrounded by the REASON for Christmas.

Today starts the week of crockpot recipes.  So I am posting the first one here: Apple BBQ Pork Tenderloin (I used turkey tenderloin, not too fond of pork)

1-2 lbs pork (or turkey) tenderloin
1 c. chunky applesauce
1 c. BBQ Sauce
1 tsp dried minced onion
(I added minced garlic, garlic powder, and onion powder)

I use my crock pot at least once a week. Especially in the winter time. Best appliance I have in my kitchen!
