I want to piss on you drip, drip, drip

Yes, that is a Dave Chappelle reference for those of you that do not know :)  And, yes....yesterday D peed all over my leg.  There we were, sitting on the potty (well, he was, I was on the floor reading him a book) waiting for the pee to start aflowin'.  I have a feeling that, that little pee shield wasn't going to work this time.  I am reading and all of a sudden I see it, almost in slow motion, a stream from pee to PJ pant leg.  He looked at me and I looked at him, nothing was said.  Then, then WE BOTH LAUGHED!   We laughed so hard and I told him to "push it down next time".  I love this little boy.  He cracks me up.  I think he is the only one in the entire world who could pee on me and I would just laugh. 

  
This potty training is for the birds ha.  I have decided that after the last pull-up, which should be today, we are switching to training undies (except nap and night night time...pull-ups).  He is 85% on, so a few potty accidents are still there.  I cannot believe that HE chose to nix the diapers.  It's just a reminder of how fast he is actually growing.  I love being a mommy, so much.  

He is such a funny and laid back kid...except yesterday.  Yesterday, he was in a mood and decided that he didn't need to nap for longer than 20 min.  I left at 5:45 pm, Dave was on baby duty and declared that at 6:30 he was giving D a tubby and that was that..BED TIME.  I told him to have at it.  Well, I returned at 8:30 and guess who was still awake in his bed?  Ha correct!  Dave went upstairs and laid with him so by 9:30 he was finally asleep.  Thank goodness for great husbands!!

Getting excited for Christmas over here!  I really need to start sitting down and watching all the movies I intended on watching.  Glad for DVR.  Family pics are being redone this weekend, so hopefully that'll go well so I can knock out these Christmas cards.  Hope everyone is having a great week!!
