Fired up! ha That's really all I can say for this Monday. D decided to sleep in until 9:25 this morning, I am NOT complaining. I missed my morning yoga sesh, but had the best lifting workout ever!!! I am going to post my workout (in case anyone out there wants to try it). On top of enjoying it, D did super duper with pottying there. He is pretty much 98% potty trained (a couple accidents a week--which I feel like is great for a 2 year old). I finally laid down the law, on myself, and last week packed up a big bag with like 7 different outfits ,7 pairs of underwears (yes, we call them underwears), and a towel-- in case he pees in his carseat. I was putting him in diaper when we were out and about, but that was just too confusing. It only took 3 times of him being out and me explaining to him before, during, and after about reminding mommy and daddy to take you potty, for him to get it. I am sooo happy!
I am back into baking mode. I do not know why it's been so long since I've baked something fun, but banana muffins it is. Recipe and pics tomorrow. Going to make it clean so you actually enjoy it without too much guilt. What are your favorite snack/dessert recipes?
Like I said, here is the workout I am doing. If you're pregnant and you didn't lift before being pregnant do not start now. Or at least talk to your doctor. If you are looking to still get in exercise while preggers, walk. Walking is sooo amazing and you can work your way up light lifting or hills or the use of ankle weights. Swimming, I cannot even tell you how much swimming is good for your entire body. It's a great full body workout and it takes so much weight off of your joints. Anywho, here ya go. Squats (I used the machine to keep it safe)
Hamstrings (Used the machine for same reason)
Abductor
Adductor
Leg Extension
Plank 3 sets/30 sec
Hip thrusters w/exercise ball 3 sets/20 reps
