Last night was our first family event on base. We went to Night Out. In case you're not familiar with National Night Out it's a community-police awareness-raising event in the United States, held the first Tuesday of August. It's a great way for the police community and regular community to interact.
We all had a blast! They had a k-9 demonstration, the fire trucks out, and so many booths with tons of information for the base too! D ran the police obstacle course and it was too cute! He has his face painted and jumped in the bounce house for at least an hour. It was the first time, since we arrived that I was finally feeling like we were settling in.
I am even more excited because one of the tables was a spine & rehab place. I am so excited to visit and hopefully stay at this center. Babies are great, but after having Ben my hips are all jacked up!
Even more pumped to get the boys to some fun playtime groups. Only a few more weeks and Dave will have his Jeep and I'll have my mom-mobile back! Tomorrow, we'll have the stroller and I cannot tell you HOW FREEING that is!
Hope everyone is having a great hump day!
